The Winter Wellbeing Challenge can be completed until the 31st March. All activities are the same.

The Rushcliffe Spring Forward Challenge encourages people to get out this spring and engage in activities to boost your wellbeing.

Attend 9 activities, receiving a sticker at each, and win a prize!

The Spring challenge will end on the 31st May 2024, and the Summer Challenge will follow! 

Sticker booklets are provided on completion of first activity. 

If your first activity is any of the following: Nordic Style Sauna Dip, parkrun, 10,000 steps, or Ramblers Wellbeing Walks at Lady Bay and Rushcliffe Country Park please contact smelvin@rushcliffe.gov.uk for your sticker booklet.

Join the FarmEco team for a very gentle stroll along the Nature Trail and farm’s environment projects. Afterwards share a warm drink and snack together. As the days lengthen and the sun becomes warmer it’s a great time to get outside, meet other people and notice spring emerging in our wonderful countryside.

 

Open to everyone! Children must be accompanied. Please contact us if you need any support.

Walking is simple, free and one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier. Join our 10,000 Steps Challenge – 3 times a week to receive a sticker. Walk, stroll, or run your way to a healthier you! Find local walking routes in the Rushcliffe Big Green Book

parkrun is a free, fun, and friendly weekly event. Please register before you first come along. You only ever need to register once and don't forget to bring a scannable copy of your barcode to receive your time. Walk, jog, run, volunteer or spectate – it's up to you!

Rushcliffe Move & Mingle Wellbeing Walks offer free, safe and sociable walks with trained leaders to improve your health and wellbeing.

 

Whether you used to enjoy walking but have lost your fitness or want to get started to improve your wellness, we’re all in it together.

Walks start at 30 minutes and are a steady pace to suit everyone

Paradise Allotmenteers

Join us Wednesdays 1.30-3.30pm at Paradise Allotments where we meet to spend time outdoors at our social prescribing allotment plot. Ideal for nature and outdoor lovers. We meet and take part in doing tasks around the allotment such as planting, harvesting, weeding, digging, trimming.

There is no pressure to do lots of tasks, why not come and socialise instead?  We have some seating around our garden table and always have hot drinks available.

Friends of Bingham Linear Park

Bingham Linear Park is a Local Nature Reserve running along the line of an abandoned railway. The Friends of group maintain and enhance the biodiversity of the local nature reserve and look after it for the users of the park. In the period April -September the group lead nature walks spotting birds, flowers, butterflies and other insects.

WholeHealth Nordic Style Sauna and Dip

WholeHealth Open Water Swim Village & Sauna  - Colwick Country Park, End of, Racecourse Rd, Nottingham , NG2 4DW

WholeHealth runs safe, supported open water swim sessions for our members at the City Council-owned Colwick Lake in Nottingham. The Mindfulness Dips are for swimmers who want a quieter dip for relaxation and meditation in the company of others, with the WholeHealth team to take care of your safety in the water while you enjoy the Lake however you want to. This new swim opportunity is designed for people who wish to immerse and enjoy the lake for peace and restoration, rather than swimming laps.

Access to the water is via a gently sloping ramp. Anyone with severe mobility issues can access the car park beside the lake by prior arrangement if needed. The Whole Health team are experienced in helping people with limited mobility get into the lake including wheelchair and mobility aid users - just let them know before the event so the team can support you. Please contact Morgan Sharpe prior to attending a session.

Join us to try a variety of crafts or feel free to bring your own and enjoy some company. Our session fees are £3 which includes refreshments.
